Welcome Party.
At the Welcome Party Nadia offered American students to have Russian lessons and everyone agreed. The lessons mainly took part at Russian students' places. First they were supposed to be just Russian lessons but turned to be parties. During the exchange program we had parties at Alina's, Pasha's, Lena's, Rita's and Danil's. Not all the Russian lessons were parties and not all the parties were Russian lessons, though.

During the parties we were having lots of fun playing badminton, volleyball, hacky-sack, watching movies, and dancing. We always had a lot of junk food and soda and we also had home-cooked food sometimes. And the host parents always were with us to help and give advice. We also were taking pictures and filming at each party.

Party at Alina's.
The first party took place on the 9th of July at Alina's. The whole party took part in the open air. After the Russian lesson we had a snack (fruit, pizza, and cake) and played badminton and volleyball. Than Janna (Alina's mom) treated everyone with popsicle and showed us the house, which is very beautiful and cozy.

Party at Pasha's.
We had our second party on the 11 of July at Pasha's. While Americans students were having a Russian lesson, Russian ones were talking to Pasha's parents in another room. Then there was a disco with very loud music. Almost everyone danced that day! At this party we had a lot of home-cooked food as Pasha's mom is very good at cooking, so we had very delicious home-made cakes. Rita was filming a lot during the party. Everyone was having fun until almost midnight. We were tired to death when we finally got home.

Party at Lena's.
Our third party took place on the 20 th of July. After the Russian lesson some of the students went outside. Eva and Carly were sleeping on the bench while all the rest students were playing hacky-sack. And those who stayed inside listened to music and talked to each other. When Sam got back, she sang the Duck song and the Moose song, which was fun. Unfortunately we had to finish early as we were going to Moscow next day but this was difficult to explain to everyone, so Sam saved us having screamed -Evacuation! The building is on fire! and everyone left. Thank you a lot Sam!

Party at Rita's.
This party took part on the 26 th of July. There was not a Russian lesson at the beginning as Nadia was sick. So we were just having fun watching ?Click, eating pizza and chips, listening to music, playing the drums and the guitar, and some students also went outside to play hacky-sack. Then Pasha's mom brought us gifts: posters and free tickets for the Water Show and Water Ski Cup, which were both parts of the Dubna anniversary celebrations. Everyone signed posters for each other. Alina even sighed them in Chinese!

Party at Danil's.
It was the last party and it took place on the 31 st of July, after the Farewell Party. At this party Rita showed us a map on the Internet on which each American student marked their house so that the Russian students could see where they are going to live next summer.

As this party was the last one, everyone was a bit sad. Nevertheless, Pasha and Alina even had a fight, so did Danil and Masha. Carly, Jessica and Sam even did some shopping during the party: they went to the nearest store and bought Patrol sneakers. Then they put them on and played hacky-sack together with Pasha, Dane and Rita.

Later half the students were dancing in one room while the others were sitting in another room, talking to each other and Danil's mom, Lilia, and eating. Then about midnight everyone but Nadia, Barbara and Lena, who live near by, left by taxi, having thanked Lilia for the beautiful flat and delicious meal.
