Russian Lessons.
Nadia taught the Americans some useful words and phrases in Russian whenever
we got a chance. This was the source of a great deal of our entertainment.
Nothing's better than watching a bunch of Americans trying to speak Russian.
We learned how to say many things. First, we learned greetings. Then, we
learned how to ask for and understand directions in Russian. We also learned
the names for different foods and how to ask for these foods. Finally, we
learned how to tell people what we think of something in Russian.
Our Russian lessons also consisted of many games. We played a game in which a
person is blindfolded and the other had to give directions to another person
in Russian. Another game involved asking for and following directions using a
map.
The Russian lessons were very much fun and we are very thankful to Nadia for
taking the time to teach us a few things.
